How we handle the information you share with us on this website.

The 97 Football Academy ("97 Academy", "we", "us") runs this website to tell families about our programs and to let you register your interest. This policy covers this website only — the "Register interest" form and the pages around it. It does not cover our training app or in-program services, which have their own privacy terms once you join.
When you fill in the "Register interest" form, we collect what you enter: your name, email and mobile number, your player's first name, age and current club, your preferred location, whatever you tell us in the free-text message, and your consent to be contacted. We don't ask for or collect health, medical or financial information on this website.
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to keep you updated about the founding cohort and our programs, and to keep an internal record of who has registered interest. We only contact you about the Academy — we don't sell, rent or share your details for anyone else's marketing.
Your form submission is delivered to us by FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service, and a copy is logged to a private Google Sheet for our own follow-up. This website is hosted on Vercel. These providers process the data on our behalf; we don't hand it to anyone else.
This website does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies (for example, a Meta/Facebook or Google ad pixel). If we add one in the future — to measure how our ads are performing — we'll update this page before switching it on.
This form is filled in by a parent or guardian, not by a child. The only information we collect about a player is their first name and age, provided by their parent. We don't collect information directly from children on this website.
We keep your enquiry for as long as it's useful for following up about the Academy, and delete it on request or once it's clearly no longer needed.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email football@97academy.com.au and we'll get back to you within a few business days.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including relying on reputable providers for hosting, form delivery and storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we don't collect more than we need in the first place.
We may update this page as the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
